Library Director
​The New Castle Public Library Board of Directors is seeking a highly qualified professional librarian and community leader to serve as the next Library Director of the New Castle Public Library. Under the Governance of the local library board, this position leads local public library service to the citizens of the city of New Castle and service areas throughout Lawrence County.

Highly qualified professionals with an ALA Accredited MLS, and at least two years of demonstrated leadership, aptitude and experience are required qualifications to apply.

This is a full-time (37.5 hour) salary, benefits eligible position that reports directly to the New Castle Board of Directors. Salary is negotiable on experience. New Castle Public Library is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The New Castle Public Library serves as a local public library, system headquarters to the Lawrence County Federated Library System, and a District Library Center for the members and affiliate public libraries throughout Armstrong, Butler, Lawrence, and Mercer Counties.
